Hi Mark,

I'll try to look at this a bit over the weekend... note though for the next release of the
broker we'll have completely reworked the threading / IO model so there's a fixed pool of
threads rather than 2 per connection... so it may be that whatever the error is here it has
already been fixed... and if it hasn't then the effect will anyway be much reduced.
