Alex Rudyy commented on QPID-7288:

I addressed your first and second review comments in commits [https://svn.apache.org/r1749902]
and [https://svn.apache.org/r1749912] accordingly.

I agree with your third comment. Updating of huge grids could be too slow. The implemented
solution is a workaround allowing to update rows smoothly without their complete recreation.
It looks like improving performance might result in increasing of complexity of existing code.
Perhaps, a different approach should be implemented like building our own pagination extension
for dgrid.

> Fix For: qpid-java-6.1
> QPID-7215 changed the VH tab to use the dgrid to display the connections associated with
a virtualhost. Unfortunately, the grid flickers in an unsightly/distracting way during refresh..
> Lorenz reported:
> There are at least two usability issues
> ordering by clicking on the headers is broken. the orderBy clause contains "NaN"
> because of the way dgrid refreshes itself by clearing the table and then rebuilding it
the surrounding container resizes eventually resizing the page. this will move the scrollbar
up the page so when the grid is rebuild the viewport is set to the top of the table making
it virtually impossible to view the bottom of the table or anything below it.
