Subject [jira] [Commented] (QPIDJMS-236) include all supported outcomes on producer link source

Rob Godfrey commented on QPIDJMS-236:

It's just that the implication of supporting the outcomes would be that you actually do something
with them, and I was curious as to what a (JMS) client could actually do with released or
modified. What you're actually saying is that the client only really supports two distinct
outcomes (success and failure) but is liberal in how its partner communicates failure. I
can sort of see how released might be used with some sort of replay/managed failover scenario,
but I struggle to think of any useful semantics for sending modified to a client.

> Key: QPIDJMS-236
> URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/QPIDJMS-236
> Project: Qpid JMS
> Issue Type: Bug
> Components: qpid-jms-client
> Affects Versions: 0.11.1
> Reporter: Robbie Gemmell
> Assignee: Robbie Gemmell
> Fix For: 0.20.0
> The client handles receiving released and modified outcomes for sent messages, but does
not adverise them on the source for its producer links, only accepted and rejected. It should
advertise all of them.
