Subject [jira] [Closed] (QPIDJMS-359) Hostname reported in connection error exception is formatted weirdly
Date Wed, 24 Jan 2018 16:08:00 GMT

Robbie Gemmell closed QPIDJMS-359.
    Resolution: Not A Problem

I wouldn't really class this as a bug in the client. The message is whats being reported up
from Netty, and thats a fairly standard 'host/ip:port' format for an inet address,e.g if I
run something using localhost:5672 to connect it gives "localhost/".

> I am connecting to the following connection URL, {{amqp://}}. There is
nothing on that URL (I forgot to start a broker), so I get an exception.

> The URL in the exception is {{/}}. It made me thinking I mistyped the URL
in the beginning. It turns out I did not, it is just how it looks in the exception. Weird.
