>Subject: Open Social not supported in Rave as expected
>I was testing two simple gadgets to fetch the owner/viewer in rave.
>The two gadgets (Open Social version 0.8) are:
>For Owner:
>For Viewer:
>Logic of both gadgets:
>Will give an alert message stating whether the var viewer/owner is null or
>If not null, then it will display the name of the viewer/owner.
>Otherwise will show nothing.
>Works fine in iGoogle but in Rave displays nothing with the alert showing
>Viewer/Owner is null.
>(*While testing in iGoogle, when added for the first time the alert will
>show "is null" as it will ask for your permission to fetch data. When you
>click "yes", then you will see the alert again showing "is not null" and the
>name will be displayed*)
>Waiting for reply.

We have an open bug regarding this issue. https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/RAVE-252 Can
you add your test gadgets to the ticket? I am going to try and look at this this week.
