Sorry, there's a typo in my previous post, the line should read:
VERSION=$(mvn help:evaluate -Dexpression=project.version 2>/dev/null | grep
-v "INFO" | tail -n 1 | sed -e 's/SNAPSHOT/$COMPANYNAME/g')
