Veena Basavaraj commented on SQOOP-1705:

[~abec] [~jarcec] I am working through this ticket, since I have need for a connector I am
writing and it also is extremely useful for Kite Connnector to use as well.

But while I have gone down this path, I have few open questions. I have created sub tickets
for them, so the design doc for this feature can be concluded.

While I crystalize the actual design for AvroIDF, I would appreciate either of you taking
some time out to answer the IDF API related questions

> CSV is a bare bones data representation format that SQOOP uses to translate the FROM
to the TO data source.
> AVRO has a well defined schema and hence might be more convenient to represent and map
the FROM and TO data types in AVRO.
