Subject how to see storm mBeans through Jconsole
Date Thu, 09 Jun 2016 20:47:06 GMT
Hi, All

I enabled JMX in storm.yaml, like
nimbus.childopts: "-Xmx1024m -Djava.net.preferIPv4Stack=true
       -Djava.rmi.server.hostname=192.168.168.22
       -Dcom.sun.management.jmxremote.port=9801
       -Dcom.sun.management.jmxremote.authenticate=false
       -Dcom.sun.management.jmxremote.ssl=false"
ui.childopts: "-Xmx768m -Djava.net.preferIPv4Stack=true"
supervisor.childopts: "-Djava.net.preferIPv4Stack=true
       -Djava.rmi.server.hostname=192.168.168.22
       -Dcom.sun.management.jmxremote.port=9802
       -Dcom.sun.management.jmxremote.authenticate=false
       -Dcom.sun.management.jmxremote.ssl=false"

and I am assuming I should be able to view storm mBeans in Jconsole as in kafka, but JConsole
storm Mbeans didn’t show up. It is because storm doesn’t automatically send out metrics
to JMX port?

thanks
