This works nicely in my test-environment. Are you sure that you're accessing the portlet correctly
through the portal? The URLs you're referring to seems like ordinary "servlet URLs". You can
only access the portlets by deploying them in a portlet container and adding them to a portal
page, and not through a direct URL.
