Not exactly sure what you're asking here......and my experience with Castor
is limited (decided to go with OJB for O/R mapping), but I have used Castor
to retrieve data from mySQL and write it to an XML file. If that's what you
wanted to know.

No problem using both the O/R and XML capabilities of Castor in the same
app. I think you can even do it with just one mapping file.
