Subject constom the "validation error" mesg
Date Fri, 07 Feb 2003 21:19:57 GMT
Hi,
 I am using Struts 1.1b3 and Tomcat 4.1.12 and
wondering how can I constomize the mesg
"Validation Error
You must correct the following error(s) before
proceeding:"
When I use <html:errors/> tag in my jsp.

This mesg comes up whenever I use the <html:errors/>
then followed by my own mesg.

1) How can I remove this mesg?

I also defined

errors.header=<br>
errors.footer=<br>
errors.prefix=<br>
errors.suffix=<br>

in my application.properties and validation-rules.xml
file, but don't know why
the <html:errors/> not picking up these and still use
<ul> in the mesg formating.

2) How can I remove the default <ul> ?

Thanks.
David
