Sounds like you should look at 'nested beans'. Check them out on the 
jakarta struts website.

It depends on your user interface design. You may find it easier to have 
a second jsp just for the child. That way, you would use a second form 
bean as well.

But nested beans are the thing to use when you want to do it all on one JSP.
