Tatsuya Taguchi commented on SVN-2464:
--------------------------------------

Hello all!

I also have this issue, and happily, I have be able to find this page.
And my simple question is,
Why isn't this patch merged to the trunk repository?
I know I can use patched svn with CUI.
But some svn client application which have GUI have this issue yet.
I'd like to use GUI tool...

Best regards,

> When subversion creates a file in the HFS+ filesystem of the OSX, the operating
> system normalizes the filenames to decomposed form of UTF-8. If the subversion
> repository contains filenames which are not in this form (for example if the
> repository is created in windows/linux and contains an "รก" character).
> To reproduce the steps:
> - Create a file in a repository with "รก" character in it in Windows or Linux
> - Commit it
> - Check out/update the repository on OSX on HFS+
> - Get a status of the repository
