Sorry but I have to disagree. Subversion had no /copies/ that are not
branches. As far as node history and merging is concerned, /every/ copy
is a branch. Saying that Subversion has no branches is incorrect, and
making assumptions from that statement will lead to wrong conclusions.
Do not confuse the concept of a branch with the concept of a separate
namespace for branch names.
