Having HiveMind included in Tapestry 3.1 it should be easy to offer at 
least these two features as services with a JDK 1.3 and JDK 1.4 
implementation.

Personally I would appreciate moving to JDK 1.4, but at least one 
other posting shows that there could be reasons to stay at JDK 1.3
