Subject RE: [SPAM] - components and properties - Email has different SMTP TO: and MIME TO: fields in the email addresses

This question should be directed to tapestry-users

The documentation (Users Guide) contains this information:
http://jakarta.apache.org/tapestry/doc/TapestryUsersGuide/intro.pages-an
d-components.html

Basically, you place components on a page (widget, etc)
A component takes parameters.

I believe you are referring to a JavaBean property (i.e. a field that
has getters and possibly setters)

hi folks

i'm a complete tapestry newbie. could anyone PLEASE tell me, what the
differnence between a component and a property is?

i was not able to find a satisfying answer in the tapestry
documentation.
it's always the same problem with dokumentation written by techies and
not
by proffesional writers: REALLY relevant info is hold back, instead you
are
flooded with technical details that overstrains you at this early
"lets-see-how-this-is-all-about" stage.
