Datepicker JS error on div.focus() in Mozilla

         Key: TAPESTRY-233
         URL: http://nagoya.apache.org/jira/browse/TAPESTRY-233
     Project: Tapestry
        Type: Bug
  Components: Framework
    Versions: 3.0.1
 Environment: Windows 2000 SP4, Firefox 1.0, Tapestry 3.0.1
    Reporter: Jijoe Vurghese
    Priority: Minor

While using DatePicker component in Firefox 1.0 (or even Mozilla), I get the following error
in the Javascript console.

Error: this._calDiv.focus is not a function
Source File: https://epi30k01.sbc.com:8443/phoenix/app?service=asset&sp=S%2Forg%2Fapache%2Ftapestry%2Fform%2FDatePicker.js
Line: 577

I know Mozilla doesnt support focus() method on div tags. I am not too familiar with JavaScript.
I was wondering if there was a workaround to avoid this call, if the browser is not IE.
