Subject [jira] Closed: (TAPESTRY-1880) DateField component should support editting of time as well as date

Howard M. Lewis Ship closed TAPESTRY-1880.
------------------------------------------

       Resolution: Fixed
    Fix Version/s: 5.0.8

Chose to call the new parameter "editTime". It's called showsTime on the client side, which
is a bit awkward. showTime is not bad, but it has the disadvantage of being close to, but
not identical to, the client-side. editTime is a bit better, since we are allowing the time
to be editted with the date.

> Currently it is not possible to select time using the JavaScript calendar created by
DateField. There should be a showTime parameter to allow this.
> While one could subclass DateField and make a, say, DateTimeField component, this shouldn't
be necessary to select a date and time.
