Thanks for the hints - there was definitely something additional on the classpath that was
breaking this.
When I moved my test to a project with only the JRE and tika-app-1.10.jar on the classpath,
it works.
I'll try to figure out what the conflict was and report back. Meanwhile, this issue can be
considered closed.
