This is probably showing my lack of java knowledge...

What if you accepted a vector as the data structure? Then you could just pop
'em back off...
However, I do think it is a bit more overhead...

It's up to the data structure, though, not the tag.  The tag has no way of
knowing what order you inserted items into a HashMap.
