Date Tue, 19 Oct 2010 07:58:28 GMT

Thorsten Wärtel updated OPENEJB-863:
------------------------------------

             Priority: Major  (was: Minor)
           Issue Type: Bug  (was: Improvement)
    Affects Version/s: 3.1.2

Is there any reason this was considered an Improvement?

This issue impacts on the imlementation of interceptors:
If you want to use an interceptor for both session and message driven ejbs and use an EJBContext
in the interceptor, you must inject into a field of type EJBContext. A field of type SessionContext
will not be assigned if the interceptor is called around an MDB's onMessage() method and vice
versa.

Therefore I consider this a bug and would like to increase priority to major.

I you like, I will try to lok into this myself and provide a patch.

> At the moment it is not possible to inject an EJBContext with an Annotation like:
> @Resource
> private EJBContext ctx;
