Subject [jira] [Commented] (TOMEE-1511) Parallel deployment + EJB webservice not working
Date Fri, 20 Mar 2015 19:45:39 GMT

Felipe Jaekel commented on TOMEE-1511:

Sorry about the delay.

Well, currently I don't have enough knowledge to provide a patch on this.

Since my applications are not open to general public, I know the maximum simultaneous user
number it may reach, so I don't pretend dealing with clustering complexities such as session
stickiness/replication, load balancer, etc. A single instance has done the trick for many
years, and with parallel deployment I'm able to update with zero downtime.

Since EJBs and REST work parallel with deployment, it would be great to be able to use Web
Services too, otherwise I guess I'll have to use Metro and lookup for the resources I need.

facing some issues. I'm using this example to test:
> Fev 10, 2015 11:02:28 AM org.apache.openejb.server.webservices.WsService deployApp
> INFORMAÇÕES: Webservice(wsdl=http://localhost:8080//webservices/WebServiceTest%23%2320150210-1100/Calculator,
qname={}CalculatorWsService) --> Ejb(id=WebServiceTest##20150210-1100/Calculator)
> 1) Webapp name is WebServiceTest, it was not added in the wsdl url. I can't access it.
> 2) EJB deployment id was added to the wsdl url. Setting openejb.wsAddress.format = /{ejbName}
solves it, but then I get java.lang.RuntimeException: Already a destination on http://Calculator:80
> Is this a bug, limitation or do I need further configuration?
> Thanks
