Subject Tomcat 5.5 instructions (Re: OpenEJB Version 3.0 beta 2 fails to initialize during deployment)
Date Sun, 17 Feb 2008 23:05:26 GMT
This is my fault as I forgot to update the docs when I ported our
integration back to 5.5.

For 5.5 you drop the openejb.war into server/webapps/ then create a
context xml file like the following in conf/Catalina/localhost/ and
restart Tomcat.

    <Context path="/openejb" docBase="${catalina.home}/server/webapps/
openejb"
          privileged="true" antiResourceLocking="false"
antiJARLocking="false">

    </Context>

We include an openejb.xml context file in the openejb.war you can just
copy over to conf/Catalina/localhost/ as well.
