It is not possible to specify both <jta-data-source> and <non-jta-data-source>.
At least Eclipse complains. <jta-data-source> only is not possible because of the exception
thrown otherwise with Hibernate.

Did you try by adding a <jta-data-source> also in persistence.xml ?
