Subject persistence.xml
Date Sat, 26 Jun 2010 07:13:28 GMT
Hi OpenEJBlers,

I have questions regarding persistence.xml.
Currently i have 2 persistence.xml files in a Eclipse project.

resource/META-INF/persistence.xml
resource-test/META-INF/persistence.xml

Both files are nearly equal, but the
resource-test/META-INF/persistence.xml contains the following additional
lines.

<properties>
   <property name="openjpa.jdbc.SynchronizeMappings"
value="buildSchema(SchemaAction='dropDB,add')" />
</properties>

For testing this is nice cause all database tables are dropped and then
newly created. But including these lines in the normal EJB-JAR would be
very uncool.

But i dont like to maintain two versions of the persistence.xml.
Whats the best practice for this?
