actually, it does not seem to work.

I've also tried to set in catalina.sh

CATALINA_OPTS=-Dcom.sun.management.jmxremote
-Dcom.sun.management.jmxremote.port=10099
-Dcom.sun.management.jmxremote.ssl=false
-Dcom.sun.management.jmxremote.authenticate=false

but jconsole detects org.apache.catalina.startup.Bootstrap start at port
11639 (some random port)
