Subject 答复: Supported Linux Platform
Date Sat, 02 Apr 2016 15:46:46 GMT
Yes, Trafodion not yet tested on Fedora. But Fedora is community version of RHEL, there is
a mapping of some Fedora version to each RHEL 6.x version. And so to CentOS 6.x version.

I think any version before Fedora 19 and after Fedora 13 should work in theory. Fedora 19
updated gcc to version 4.8 which Trafodion still not support yet, but we are working on this
now.

It will be a great contribution if one can help to test on Fedora/Ubuntu/Gentoo/SUSE/Debian,
you name it. I feel Fedora 18 will be a very good candidate to test first.

We are currently working on supporting CentOS 7, when that is done, Fedora 19 and more recently
versions should be supported as well.

Thanks,
Ming

Hi,

CentOS and SUSE are supported per the documentation. I don't think there's been time to test
with Fedora yet. I looked in the unresolved Jiras but couldn't find one that discusses Fedora.
