Subject [jira] Commented: (UIMA-91) Remove/hide CAS Initializer Panel in CPE GUI?
Date Tue, 05 Dec 2006 01:20:25 GMT
Marshall Schor commented on UIMA-91:

+1. Besides a backwards-compatibility mode to unhide - perhaps if the CPE GUI is opened on
an existing descriptor that has a cas initializer (if that concept makes sense) it could unhide
this capability.

> Remove/hide CAS Initializer Panel in CPE GUI?
> ---------------------------------------------
> Key: UIMA-91
> URL: http://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/UIMA-91
> Project: UIMA
> Issue Type: Improvement
> Components: Tools
> Reporter: Adam Lally
> Priority: Minor
> Since CAS Initializers are deprecated, it may make sense to remove or hide the CAS Initializer
panel in the CPE GUI. Otherwise new users are confused. For existing users who still have
CAS Initializers, perhaps a menu option could un-hide the panel?
