I think we need instructions that describe how a user can take the
source distribution and build the corresponding binary distribution.
(Instead of a build error, which is what they get right now if they
try to build the full distribution.)  So I'm thinking of instructions
that say exactly which files to get from SVN and add to their source
distribution that will make it buildable.  I'll try to come up with
