Subject [jira] [Commented] (UIMA-2447) MARKFAST on StringList
Date Wed, 01 Aug 2012 12:06:02 GMT

Peter Klügl commented on UIMA-2447:

STRINGLIST and WORDLIST are two different concepts in TextMarker, the first being a normal
list of string values and the second being an external resource/dictionary. For matching on
string lists, the condition INLIST would normally be applied. However, this condition only
performs a candidate classification and not a match on the document. I can add the functionality
to use string lists in the MARKFAST actions, but a trie structure needs to be generated each
time the action is applied since the list is variable and its content can change.

> Hi Jens,
> is there a particular reason why MARKFAST ist not allowed on STRINGLISTs?
> eg. the following code doesn't work:
> STRINGLIST myList = {"Peter", "Philipp", "Kai"};
> Document{->MARKFAST(Name, myList)};
> Best regards
> Philipp
