Temporarily worked around this in the CasComparer class used for testing.
> XMI Serialization/Deserialization not handling null string array values
> -----------------------------------------------------------------------
> Key: UIMA-2490
> URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/UIMA-2490
> Project: UIMA
> Issue Type: Bug
> Components: Core Java Framework
> Affects Versions: 2.4.0SDK
> Reporter: Marshall Schor
> Priority: Minor
> A string array with 2 elements, "class1" and NULL, gets serialized out the same way as
one with 2 elements "class1" and "". The deserialization deserializes this as a 0-length
string. There's no current way to serialize out a null value in a string array. Special
handling was added for null valued FeatureStructure arrays, but not for String Arrays.
