Subject [jira] [Created] (UIMA-2806) Echo limits to both agent and user console.
Date Tue, 09 Apr 2013 17:10:15 GMT
Jim Challenger created UIMA-2806:
------------------------------------

Summary: Echo limits to both agent and user console.
                 Key: UIMA-2806
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/UIMA-2806
             Project: UIMA
          Issue Type: Task
          Components: DUCC
            Reporter: Jim Challenger
            Assignee: Jim Challenger
            Priority: Minor

Before starting a process the user's limits should be echoed to both the DUCC agent and the
job instance's console/logfile, regardless of whether the job spec specified limits.

This is motivated by chasing several elusive problems caused by unexpected core file limits
and open-file limits which were set differently on different operataing system levels in the
cluster.
