Subject [jira] [Commented] (UIMA-2672) TextMarker: Enable direct import of uimaFIT analysis engines
Date Thu, 16 May 2013 14:45:17 GMT

    [ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/UIMA-2672?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=13659595#comment-13659595

Peter Klügl commented on UIMA-2672:

I added a dependency to the uimafit snapshot for now. I think Ruta 2.0.2/2.1.0 will released
after uimaFIT 2.0.0 ;-)

The import of uimaFIT AE should already work. My test set looks like:
- Maven project with dependencies to some DKPro ASL components and models
- Ruta project with a dependency to the Maven project
- working test script (without descriptors):

PACKAGE uima.ruta.example;

TYPESYSTEM dkpro.DKProTypeSystem;
UIMAFIT de.tudarmstadt.ukp.dkpro.core.tokit.BreakIteratorSegmenter;
UIMAFIT de.tudarmstadt.ukp.dkpro.core.opennlp.OpenNlpPosTagger;

Document{-> SETFEATURE("language", "de")};
Document{-> EXEC(BreakIteratorSegmenter)};
Document{-> EXEC(OpenNlpPosTagger)};

> Currently, only analysis engines imported by referencing the descriptor file are available.
It would be useful, if uimaFIT analysis engines can directly imported into a TextMarker script
by referencing the actual implementation.
