Subject [jira] [Commented] (UIMA-3921) When a JD fails to start (e.g.classpath error) it marks the job as complete
Date Tue, 12 Aug 2014 16:53:12 GMT

Lou DeGenaro commented on UIMA-3921:

And when I submitted a job that caused this:

org.apache.uima.util.InvalidXMLException: An import could not be resolved. No file with name
"org/apache/uima/ducc/test/randomsleep/NoClassCR.xml" was found in the class path or data
path. (Descriptor: {1})

State: Completed
Reason: DriverInitializationFailure

This seems fine too.

> The agent reports that it has an exit code of 1 ... perhaps it could determine that the
process never started and give a more serious error.
