All testing on RHEL 6.6, Linux 2.6.32-504.23.4.el6.x86_64

-downloaded binary tarball, checked sha1sum, unpacked, set $UIMA_HOME,
updated $PATH and ran adjustExamplePaths.sh

-ran cvd.sh with MeetingDetectorTAE.xml

-linked uimacpp in $UIMA_HOME to uimacpp-2.4.0 and ran DaveDetector and
SofaExampleAnnotator using cvd.sh

-ran DUCC's raw text job with uima-core.jar v2.8.1

-ran DUCC's cas input job with uima-core.jar v2.8.1

all look good ... +1 to release
