Thanks for mentioning the Eclipse "feature/trick" for suggestion list for static methods -
I didn't know about that.

Here's a plain Java trick I learned recently, that let's you avoid the Classname.some_static_method
"Classname" prefix in Java 8.  It has 2 steps:

* put the static method in an interface, as a static (default) method.
* in a class where you want to use these, have the class "implement" the interface.

Then you can use the name without the prefix.  Works also with static fields.  It's a nice
way to include lots of static field names.
