Subject Clean wrappers?
Date Wed, 07 Aug 2002 23:21:51 GMT
It's often recommended that the developer put a complex object in a
simplified wrapper and then hand the wrapper to the designer in the
template.

What if your complex object has nested complex objects (a heterogenous
tree, for example), that are made available via iterators to the
designer? Is there an easy way to provide a wrapper for these objects
as well, while still maintaining the clean iterator and reference syntax
in the template?

Or am I stuck with either writing custom iterators for every exposed
collection in the complex object, or creating and returning "redundant"
copies of the existing collections containing the wrapped objects?
