Subject RE: URL and Classpath resource loaders
Date Thu, 07 Aug 2003 12:33:54 GMT
Why is there nothing that can handle a simple URL in the base distribution?

I will look into creating a custom resource loader for now. I had started on that path, but
hoped there might be something I missed.

Now I have to get around the same classpath issue: I'll need to have my custom resource loader
at the same classloader level as Velocity. It's better, but not ideal.

Please, look at the
http://koti.mbnet.fi/akini/java/unicodereader/ for
UnicodeFileResourceLoader example. You could take
current ClasspathResourceLoader sourcecode from cvs
and tweak it to use systemloader or something else.
