Hi,

I just read the Users Guide on the website, and something seems contradictory
to me...

Somewhere in the beginning, it's stated that
"with Velocity there is no confusion about data types, as only strings
(text-based information) may be passed to variables. "

Yet, a bit furthur on, it seems that integers and variable references, among
others, can also be assigned to variables...

Am I understanding this the wrong way, or is this an error in the guide?

Cheers,

Hans
