Hi Nitin,

The user guide can be found here:
http://velocity.apache.org/engine/releases/velocity-1.5/user-guide.html

The developer guide can be found here:
http://velocity.apache.org/engine/releases/velocity-1.5/developer-guide.html

These can be read in an hour or so and should certainly provide enough
material to be going on with.

For books: I would recommend Rob Harrop's guide to Velocity, published
by APress: http://tinyurl.com/382sdw
