Creating a builder from a DOMSource only works with Woodstox

                 Key: AXIOM-401
             Project: Axiom
          Issue Type: Bug
          Components: DOOM, LLOM
    Affects Versions: 1.2.12
            Reporter: Andreas Veithen
            Priority: Minor

Since Axiom 1.2.12, OMXMLBuilderFactory supports creating a builder from a javax.xml.transform.Source
object. This works well for DOMSource objects, provided that Woodstox is used as StAX implementation.
This can be demonstrated by the following code:

Document document = DocumentBuilderFactory.newInstance().newDocumentBuilder().newDocument();
document.appendChild(document.createElementNS(null, "root"));
OMDocument omDocument = OMXMLBuilderFactory.createOMBuilder(new DOMSource(document)).getDocument();

However, executing the same code using the StAX implementation included in Oracle's Java 1.6
runtime environment fails with the following error:

Exception in thread "main" java.lang.UnsupportedOperationException: Cannot create XMLStreamReader
or XMLEventReader from a javax.xml.transform.dom.DOMSource
