Subject [jira] [Commented] (AXIOM-443) StAX dialect detection fails on IBM JRE 1.7
Date Sun, 06 Jan 2013 16:48:12 GMT

Hudson commented on AXIOM-443:
------------------------------

Integrated in ws-axiom-trunk #1340 (See [https://builds.apache.org/job/ws-axiom-trunk/1340/])
    AXIOM-443: Ensure that OMSourcedElementImpl doesn't continue to use the parser returned
by OMDataSource#getReader() after it has been closed. This causes no problem with Woodstox,
but XLXP 1 correctly complains about this.

This fixes a regression caused by r1424378. (Revision 1429539)

     Result = SUCCESS

> On IBM Java 1.7, Axiom fails to detect the dialect of the StAX implementation in the
JRE. It identifies the StAX implementation as SJSXP although it is XLXP. This then results
in the following error:
> Exception in thread "main" java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: The XMLInputFactory does
not recognize the property "reuse-instance".

>     at org.apache.axiom.om.util.StAXUtils.createXMLStreamReader(StAXUtils.java:229)
> A workaround is to add Woodstox to the class path.
