Alberto - this looks perfect, I just have one last question: will commons-codec run on J2ME?
If not, we need to either include it as a separate module or document it very clearly. Not
sure what the best course of action is yet - I'll ask the list and see if we can judge the
J2ME compliance rather quickly.
