I'm very happy to hear your plan.

I'd just checked out svn trunk.
It looks so good, but also it looks like incompatible to 2.0 branch any
more. :'(

OT.
What do you think about providing pre/post processing hooks(similar to
marquee's)? IMHO that was very useful to logging and filtering.
