Synopsis: mod_perl breaks mod_proxy on self access

Does the behavior change if you don't compile the apache with mod_perl and then compile with
mod_perl but don't include anything in the configuration?

What do you mean "the proxy server and the http server runs on the same port"? Do you only
run one server?
