Subject Re: utility to convert dtd to schema
Date Wed, 14 Jul 2004 18:58:41 GMT
I have not tried xmlspy. Currently, I am using a free perl script called
dtd2xsd.pl. I need to modify the dtd to get correct simple|complex type
mapping.
This script is listed at http://www.w3.org/2000/04/schema_hack/#dow. I
work with small dtds, therefore, it is not justify to buy the xmlspy.
The conversion feature is not included with a free home xmlspy version.

If xmlspy utility requires to tweak the resulting schema, then I'll stay
with the dtd2xsd.pl.

Thanks all,

Albert Lu
