Subject RE: Incremental compilation ?
Date Fri, 16 Jul 2004 23:04:38 GMT
It is not possible today.
I am working on a contribution that adds exactly this type of incrementality to XmlBeans Schema
compilation, but it is not trivial, so it will be a while before it is ready. I will submit
it for checking into the V2 tree at that point. I have only contributed the part that skips
regenerating all the Java files that haven't changed, but you can only use that from the scomp
Ant task and I have yet to get around writing some documentation on it.
Also you may want to take a look at http://wiki.apache.org/xmlbeans/V2Features (see Remy's
email on the dev list).

Subject: Incremental compilation ?

Hi,

I have a bunch of schemas in a directory. Using the schema compiler I create
a jar for these schemas. At later point, I change one of the schemas and
would just want to compile this schema ONLY and update the jar. Is it
possible to achieve this ?

Thanks,
Radhakrishnan
