Subject Redisplayng JSVGCanvas to show any changes made to it.

windows 2000, Batik1.5 beta1, JDK1.4
Any suggestion as to how to redisplay any changes made to svg at runtime
running an application without using javascipt(all java).

eg.

method to make an element(layer) visible or invisible
or change text, or fill color

I've tried using this:

m_svgCanvas.setSVGDocument(m_svgCanvas.getSVGDocument() ); did not work,
when do I call this so it will load and get rendered properly.
