Subject RE: Bidi text
Date Mon, 19 Aug 2002 14:17:46 GMT
Version 1.5 beta 2

The case is simple: simple svg, containing only a text node in Hebrew. I
got a reference to this node after creating a GVT and called getBBox().
It throws an exception unless I set the unicode-bidi attribute to embed.
I apologize I can't attach an example - the code I'm using is to be run
inside cocoon and it's quite complicated for me to write an example from
scratch. If, however, you still can't witness this problem without too
much effort, tell me, and I'll try to find the time for that.

Thanks a lot in advance.

Hi Yyai,

If you could provide exactly what version of Batik you are using, a
full stack trace, and hopefully a small self-contained example, it
might be easier to help you.
