Hi Hans,

If you are using the Batik rasterizer application, there is a -dpi 
option to do just that.

-dpi <resolution>
        Resolution for the ouptut image.

To see the complete list of options:

build svgrasterizer

or:

java -jar batik-rasterizer.jar for the binary distribution.
